Lisa is originally from San Francisco, California. She fell in love with yoga in 2004. After practicing for several years, she decided to become a yoga teacher and studied under international yoga teacher, Mandy Lathan in Amsterdam. Lisa recognizes yoga as more than a set of postures and movements, but rather a full mind-body practice, enabling a deep connection with our higher selves.
Lisa believes this connection is the most important thing we can experience in our lives. Over the years, she attended Vipassana (silent) retreats in Northern California, which taught her the value of meditation and mindfulness; important components of yoga she integrates into her classes.
Lisa draws on her own spiritual journey and passion for yoga to create rich, dynamic and soulful classes. She enjoys empowering her students to test the limits of their minds and bodies.
Recognising yoga as a journey, Lisa continues to improve upon her skills by following additional training with Shiva Rea (Prana Vinyasa) and David Lurey (Find Balance Yoga, Yoga therapy).
